What are the homes we build at CasaViva like?

These are solid and legally recognized homes, classified as real estate because they’re built on approved land, with architect-certified plans and a valid municipal building license.

The foundation of our homes is built on a concrete slab, calculated based on the specific characteristics of the land (geotechnical study). This ensures the same level of stability as traditional construction and allows the home to be officially registered as real estate property.

Speed is one of our hallmarks: your home will be ready in just 190 days from the moment the building permit is granted and the foundation slab is completed.

The key to our structural strength lies in our standardized compact wood frame — an extremely tough and resilient material. In addition, all the wood undergoes a comprehensive pre-treatment to protect against moisture, pests, and sun exposure, and includes a specific warranty for this type of construction. It complies with all quality seals and the current building regulations (Spanish Technical Building Code).

Are CasaViva’s timber-framed homes solid and durable?

At CasaViva, the Spanish regulations on timber structures (CTE-SE-M) are a fundamental reference, and all our products come with certified guarantees. The load-bearing capacity of our structures is identical to that of a conventional home, fully complying with current building standards.

Am I limited to a wood exterior with CasaViva?

Not at all. The exterior look of your home can be just as varied as in traditional construction. That said, we usually recommend a basic SATE finish due to its high energy efficiency and modern appearance. We also offer ventilated façades with porcelain cladding, which come with a small price increase. Your vision is our limit.

And what about the interior? The same creative freedom awaits you. You choose the materials you prefer. CasaViva is committed to delivering your home with top-quality finishes, offering the same variety as any traditional build. Every space in your future home is fully tailored to your wishes — and you’ll be surprised how far we can go without increasing your initial budget.
